The Calder Valley Snooker League provides this site for league members to enter results and submit player and competition registrations. We collect only the information needed to process those submissions, secure the forms and understand use of the site.
Who is responsible for your information?
The Calder Valley Snooker League is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Questions or requests about privacy can be raised with the League Secretary through your usual club or league contact.
Information submitted through this site
Result forms can include clubs, teams, players, scores and high breaks. Registration and transfer forms can include player names, club or team membership, handicaps, playing history and related competition details. The person submitting a form may also be identified by the player or team details selected in the form.
Submissions are emailed to authorised league officials and processed for the legitimate purpose of administering the league, maintaining sporting records and responding to registration or transfer requests. Submitted information may later appear in league records on the public league website.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics helps us understand matters such as which pages are visited, how visitors reached the site, general device and browser information, approximate location, scrolling, outbound link use and file downloads.
We use this information to understand and improve the site. We do not enable advertising storage, advertising personalisation or the sending of user data for advertising through our consent settings. My CVSL choices are specific to this browser and Results Entry. They are not shared automatically with the public CVSL website, and can be cleared through My CVSL or your browser controls.
Hosting, email and technical records
Our hosting provider may create technical server logs when pages, data or form handlers are requested. These can include an IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and response status. The site also records limited diagnostic information about form processing and email delivery. These records may be used to operate the site, maintain security, diagnose faults and prevent misuse. Complete personal form payloads and email bodies are not intended to be written to diagnostic logs.
Who receives information?
Information may be processed by:
- authorised league officials who administer results, registrations and transfers;
- our website hosting and email providers, for delivery, reliability and security; and
- Google Analytics, but only after analytics consent is given.
Google may process Analytics information outside the United Kingdom under its applicable contractual and data-transfer safeguards. You can read Google's Privacy Policy.
How long information is retained
Submitted information may be retained in league administration and historical sporting records. Analytics, hosting, email and diagnostic information is retained according to the settings and operational needs of the relevant service. We avoid keeping information longer than needed for its stated purpose.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Please raise requests with the League Secretary through your usual club or league contact. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
